Looking for something a little different from the typical gym environment? Welcome to a sheltered, garden-based fitness space that delivers the benefits of strength training within a calm, natural setting. Whether you prefer bespoke 1:1 or 1:2 personal training, or a supportive small group (maximum three people), this is a space where you can build strength, move better, and feel more at home in your body.
What makes this space special?
Set in a peaceful garden, this compact, no-frills training area is simple but thoughtfully equipped. It's not a high-tech gym—and it’s not trying to be. Instead, you’ll find a relaxed, welcoming setting with everything you need to build strength, confidence, and lasting fitness.
Sheltered from the elements but still open to the fresh air, the space suits those who enjoy being closer to nature, don’t mind a curious cat stopping by, and prefer a more personal, grounded approach to training.
Focused on strength, built around you
Training here centres on lifting weights—using dumbbells, barbells, resistance bands, and your own bodyweight. This kind of strength training is not just about aesthetics. It plays a key role in:
Building lean muscle
Improving core strength and posture
Supporting joint and bone health (especially important as we age)
Boosting metabolism and mood
Every session is designed to support functional, strong movement patterns for the long-term—adapted to your level and goals, whether you're brand new to training or returning after a break.
Small group & personalised attention
Choose the level of support that suits you:
1:1 or 1:2 Personal Training – Highly tailored, with guidance for independent activity between sessions (including activities of daily life, scheduled exercise and postural/mobility work as required) to help you progress as quickly as possible.
Small Group PT (maximum three people) – A friendly, motivating atmosphere with individual attention in a shared setting.
All sessions are guided with care and an eye for detail—no getting lost in a crowd or rushed through a routine.
Movement-focused, always learning
I’m genuinely fascinated by how the body moves — and how much better life can feel when we move well. I'm a qualified personal trainer and trained yoga teacher, and I’m continually learning to better support my clients in moving well, building strength, avoiding injury, and feeling more at ease in their bodies.
My approach is rooted in care, adaptability, and thoughtful programming to support my aim of making fitness accessible to people of all ages and abilities. I have completed additional training in:
Fitness for older adults and those managing long-term health conditions
Pre- and postnatal exercise
Pelvic floor health
Mobility coaching
Whether you're focused on regaining strength, staying mobile, improving your health, or just feeling good in your body again, I’ll meet you where you are—and help you move forward safely and confidently.
If you’d like to find out more, please do get in touch for a chat. There’s no pressure—just a friendly conversation to see if this feels like the right fit for you.

"Liz’s classes are the best way to start and end the week! She pushes us hard, but with good humour and banging tunes. I feel invigorated and uplifted during and afterwards. Thanks to her expertise and imagination, each class is different so there’s no risk of getting bored. She’s really inclusive and offers variations which means it’s welcoming whatever your ability. I’d advise anyone to give it a try – you won’t regret it!"
