Pelvic floor coaching can support pre/postnatal clients as well as helping women who still have pelvic-floor concerns years after having children rebuild strength, confidence, and trust in their bodies. I also offer coaching for men experiencing pelvic floor symptoms.
Pelvic floor issues can feel confusing, frustrating, and often a bit overwhelming. My coaching is designed to give you clarity and the knowledge and awareness to make lasting progress.
Rather than just focusing on isolated exercises, we look at how your pelvic floor works as part of your whole body—including your breathing, posture, and movement patterns.
You’ll learn how to:
understand what your symptoms are telling you
reconnect with your pelvic floor in a practical, realistic way
build strength and confidence gradually
return to exercise in a way that feels safe and sustainable
I provide structured, supportive guidance to help you rebuild strength and move forward with confidence.
Pelvic floor issues are incredibly common across all ages and genders, and are often normalised or viewed as inevitable. Many people deal with bladder or bowel issues, discomfort, heaviness or fear around movement on a daily basis for years before seeking help.
Some will need the additional support of a pelvic floor physiotherapist to get back on track (I can help you decide if this might be you, and point you in the right direction), but many can make real improvements to pelvic floor function through simple lifestyle changes, breathing and pelvic floor exercises and implementing strategies to manage common issues.
My own story
I have experienced a stage-two pelvic floor prolapse, which I continue to manage while maintaining a very active life. Many, if not most, of the symptoms and issues addressed in the pelvic floor coaching program are familiar to me. Learning to better understand and to improve my situation made me want to help others do the same.
Pelvic floor dysfunction can impact anyone and can occur for many reasons, at every stage of life. I initially assumed my prolapse was entirely due to a difficult labour, but now realise there were likely several contributing lifestyle factors.
I was also shocked at how little focus there was on this area in my pre/post-natal qualification, which prompted me to seek out Louise Field, founder of Adore Your Pelvic Floor and a powerful advocate for pelvic floor health and education, to improve my knowledge in this important area. I'm so proud to now be working as an Adore Your Pelvic Floor coach to support many other women.
Scope of coaching
Please note, this coaching does not replace a medical assessment or diagnosis. It may be necessary to see a pelvic health physiotherapist before beginning coaching, and I can advise if this is the case. If I think you need the additional support of a pelvic floor physio then I have some excellent local contacts.
I'm always happy to have a chat, so please do feel free to get in touch with any questions, or just to find out more.
While the group program is aimed at women, I am also able to offer sessions for men dealing with pelvic-floor issues. Please get in touch for more details.
I hope we can work together to help you feel stronger from the inside out, and to move through life with the confidence you deserve.
